It is our belief that ethical purebred dog breeders strive to
preserve the breed as described in the breed's written breed
standard. It is the written breed standard that describes what
a purebred dog is supposed to be- what it should look like and
what it should act like. Ethical breeders do NOT breed to purposefully
produce traits which are disqualifications or faults for their
breed.
